Could Lake Baikal Harbour an Underwater Extraterrestrial Base?
Russia’s Lake Baikal is renowned for its numerous UFO sightings, also for its colossal body of water that is believed to harbor a secret extraterrestrial base in its depths, and there are a few pictures from NASA to prove it.
Located in Siberia close to the Mongolian boarder, this almost desolate place has a history stretching back more than 30 million years and is sure to offer the most fascinating stories. Being considered the largest body of freshwater in the entire world, cumulating about 20 percent of the global freshwater and with a depth of more than 5,000 feet, this monstrous lake is presumed to hide a complex underwater cave system which might extend underneath the entire region of Siberia.
Underwater landscape is rarely explored because of the hostile conditions encountered by divers, not to mention all the crevices that are mostly inaccessible because of their narrow and tricky entrances that won’t allow divers to carry their scuba gear and oxygen tanks.
Little is known about these underwater caves underneath Lake Baikal, making them the perfect hiding spot for a submerged alien base, and as it happens, this bleak and chilly place has encountered quite a few bizarre phenomenon that have been recorded by either the military, the locals or by the UFO enthusiasts scouting the place for UFOs .
NASA also released the most intriguing photos of what appears to be the frozen mark of a disc-shaped craft which emerged from underneath the water. In 2009, astronauts aboard the International Space Station photographed two enigmatic shapes found on the icy surface of the lake.
One of the anomalous cracks was discovered near the southern end of the lake, while the other was close to the center. Both cracks were symmetrical and perfectly round, thus pointing towards the hypothesis of a spaceship or even a mothership that broke the extremely thick layer of ice on its way out.
According to the former Soviet Naval officer and UFOlogist, Vladimir Azhazha, he possesses leaked classified files belonging to the Russian government that speak of an unusual event from 1982, when a team of military divers training in the depths of Lake Baikal encountered several otherworldly submersible vehicles moving extremely fast, far beyond any aquatic devices engineered by the Soviet Navy at that point in time.
A few days after the peculiar sighting, another team of seven divers training at a depth of about 150 feet stumbled upon a group of strange beings in silvery suits wearing an unknown type of oxygen mask. Soon after, the divers received orders to capture the creatures, but in their blind attempt to follow orders, three men got killed after the alien beings fired strange sonar waves from their guns which destroyed their diving equipment and also made them lose consciousness.
Four divers were washed ashore and were lucky enough to survive, although they suffered severe lung damage. After the recovery, they forwarded a detailed report to their superiors which remained classified until recently. UFO researchers aware of this case believe that the Soviets encountered the notorious Alpha Centaurians, a highly intelligent species of extraterrestrials which over time evolved into aquatic beings with gills and webbed limbs.
In 2012, a group of enthusiast adventurers gathered at Lake Baikal equipped with high-end recording gear in the hopes of surprising live alien activity. A member of the expedition, Vladimir Kuznetsov recalled another bizarre event at Lake Baikal.
In 1958, there was a TU-154 airplane crash. There were some reports from the locals that a UFO pursued the aircraft until it reached Baikal waters right here, and there were frequent reports of UFO activity around Baikal. So this is the reason why we decided to meet here.
Russian UFO Hunters Look To The Skies Above Lake Baikal
With so many UFO reports related to Lake Baikal, more and more people studying the UFO phenomenon believe that within the lake resides a highly intelligent species of aliens that has set-up a base sheltered by the dense layer of ice. Vladimir Azhazha is one of the supporters of this theory.
I think about underwater bases and say: why not? Nothing should be discarded, he said. Skepticism is the easiest way; believe nothing, do nothing. People rarely visit great depths, so it’s very important to analyze what they already encountered there.
If his claims prove to be true, we are yet to find out, but after going through all the bizarre reports at Lake Baikal, we find it likely that the above hypothesis has at least a grain of truth embedded in it.
